BEFORE

The original kitchen layout lacked the all important triangle that is ideally formed by the kitchen’s three main work areas: sink, stove, and refrigerator.

AFTER

By moving both the refrigerator and the oven we were able to create that golden triangle.

BREAKFAST NOOK/ BEFORE

This small room off of the kitchen was essentially wasted space.  Not only was it too small for a proper table with chairs, it was also separated from the kitchen.

NEW BEVERAGE CENTER/ AFTER

By removing a large portion of the wall I was able to transform the wasted room into a functioning beverage center complete with full sized wine fridge, under cabinet beverage refrigerator, ice maker, bar sink and plenty of storage.

BEFORE

Befor the renovation, the refrigerator and pantry were out of the chef's reach.

NEW BREAKFAST NOOK/ AFTER

After relocating the refrigerator and pantry on the other side of the kitchen, we transformed the resulting space into a built-in banquette with plenty of flexible seating and storage underneath.

The original double wall oven.

OVEN/ AFTER

By moving the oven to the corner and adding a stove in place of the drop in cooktop in the island we were able to keep two ovens while also making room for the new pantry.

Staining the island and banquette a rich brown warmed up the rest of the all white color scheme in the kitchen.

ISLAND/ AFTER

Using some antiqued mirrored tiles on the back of the island reflects light and color while adding style.

DINING ROOM/ AFTER

We opened the wall between the kitchen and dining room and painted it to compliment the kitchen.

Using three different cabinet pulls - cups, knobs, and handles - in coordinating finishes adds visual interest to the room.

Taking the cabinetry to the ceiling allowed us to add some small, lighted cabinets to showcase keepsakes.  We stained the interior of these cabinets to match the island.
